Free Photoshop actions
Dang, I wish I knew how to use Photoshop! David taught me some basic stuff, but for some reason, I don't seem to find this program very user-friendly. Well, not having it in my computer anymore doesn't help, ha. I guess I should give it another try.
Anyway, you'll find some Photoshop actions in this blog.

Lenses
If you're as clueless as I am about lenses, here's some input on the subject.

Have a colorful Monday!

Here's to a week full of bright colors and light! ;) Hope we can all check off lots of items in our to-do lists.
Mine includes:

* Sewing the hem on my pants (don't know how to, but I'll have to give it a try).

A compendium of fashionable somethings

Ah, another weekend is just round the corner! Time for another Compendium of somethings. This time I have a list of items connected with fashion and I have to admit that I feel a bit guilty and elitist mentioning so many brands in one post; and kind of disgusted, too, quite honestly. But anyway, here goes this week's compendium.

Something to organize your shoes: Rakku shoe racks

Something comfy for your feet: Pretty Chanel Jelly shoes.

Something for trendy babies: Look at these Mary Jane socks! I so want them for me :p.

Something to style your shirts/dresses: LV F/W 2011 collars.

Something versatile: Check out this video and learn how to make different skirts and dresses with a shirt.

Something haute couture: Are you sure you can pronounce these brands correctly?

Something for each day of the week: 7 days of the week undies by Juicy Couture.

Something to revamp your shorts: Learn how to embellish your shorts with lace in this DIY.

Something to play with: If you love old style paper dolls as much as I do, you'll be delighted with Mostly Paper Dolls.

Have a blast this weekend, folks! ;D

Life in a series of three

I'm getting ready to send some packages.

Rainy days are for staying home and doing laundry.

Afternoon coffee and rose scented candle from Ikea (set of 2; the other one's in the restroom).
Can you see the geisha inside the cup? This was a Christmas present from one of the ladies from the library. Love my tiny coffee cup :).

Sometimes I don't feel like cooking lunch, so I have a TV dinner.
Junk food. /Price: 99c. / Calories: 280.

Happy midweek, everybody!

Favorite blogs

Wanna know what new (to me) blogs I've been browsing through lately? Take a look! ;)

Funkytime
What can I say about this blog? Awesome photos, amazing DIYs and ideas ;).

Wit & Whistle
So you like stationery, typo and crafty tutorials. Why not throw some cool recipes in there, too, right? Wit & Whistle is all that and more.

The Noun Project
This website collects and adds to the recognizable symbols that form the world's visual language. You can download them for free and submit yours as well.

Things Organized Neatly
This is probably the perfect blog for David. Have I ever told you he has OCD? Oh, yes, he does! I'll make sure he takes a look at it, haha.

Debbie No Esta
This one is for Spanish speakers, although Debbie does speak English. She is a fellow Argentine girl who is known for her blunt humor, vintage picks and bob a la Uma in Pulp Fiction. She never shows her face in her blog, but at least she lets us see her outfits; here's a peek.
Oh, and I recommend this post in particular as a brief intro into Debbie's world; I think it pretty much summarizes hew views on the blogging world and her sense of humor.

Go check these wonderful blogs whenever you have the chance ;).

And watch Portlandia, too! :p

Have a great day! ;D
