A compendium of practical somethings - part II

I published a compendium of practical somethings a long time ago, but I've been saving so many practical and creative ideas that I thought I could go with a part deux. If you missed part one, you can check it out here.

Something for prudent painters: The Slob Proof paint pen is a very useful tool which lets you store paint for future touch-ups. The paint is preserved for years because it's vacuum sealed.
Something for your nose: I've been meaning to get pore strips for months, but since we're on a tight budget that's something I always end up not getting when we go grocery shopping. The good thing is that I've realized that I don't need to buy any anymore, because I can make them myself with two simple elements: a tablespoon of milk and a tablespoon of unflavored gelatin! Check this tutorial by Michelle Phan, if you want to make them yourselves, too.

Something for those planning a road trip: On the way is an awesome website/app that finds all sorts of attractions between your starting and ending destinations. A big time saver ;). Oh, and you can type places from all over the world!

Something to keep your things organized: Pinterest can be a huge waste of time, but I have to thank it for these awesome and easy ideas.

Here's how to store your boots when you're not wearing them: just use a pool noodle to keep them up.

This week decal will help you keep a track of what you have to do during the week. Chalkboard contact, paint or even paint spray would work, too. And if you want to kill two birds with one stone, you can even get magnetic chalkboard paint ;).

A great idea for those who lack space.

Something heart-shaped: Don't have a heart-shaped baking pan? Not a problem. You can use square and rounded pans to form a heart.

Or you can get a ribbon adjustable baking pan and play with different shapes.

Something free: A collection of some badass free downloadable fonts is available here.

Something for the kids: Lots of awesome activities to do with your kids to create great memories and to keep them entertained.

Something for photography aficionados:  Here are some useful tips about lenses.

And lots of other tips here.

Something artsy: This art installation in Portugal is colorful and keeps you in the shade; a total win-win.

Something geeky: Copy paste character is a web and app which lets you copy hidden characters and paste them in tweets, e-mails, etc.

Something for rainy days: Don't let rain catch you off guard! It'd be too big of a pain to carry your wellies everywhere (although some fashion bloggers do seem to be doing it, muahaha!); it's much easier and lighter to keep a pair of these disposable shoe covers in your purse. They're practical and kinda cute, wouldn't you agree? ;)

Something for birthday people: Would you like to get free food on your birthday? Check out this link to see where to go and what to get.

Have an awesome weekend, everybody! ;D
