Date night at home

Yesterday night, I decided to surprise my husband with dinner in candle light. I didn't have much money to spend, so I kept it simple and resorted to many things that were already in the house. My favorite purchase was these flowers; aren't they pretty? :)

I used masking paper to make a tablecloth. The roll was narrow so I had to used three long strips.

These are all the ingredients I used. Yeah, I didn't go too crazy ... maybe the next time I can plan to cook some fancier, hehe.

I used sake bottles as flower vases and bigger bottles as candle holders.

I made some snacks with bread, mozzarella cheese, raw spinach, olive oil and grated garlic.

I finished setting the table, then cooked the pasta and the sauce and just waited for David to get home :).

It might have not been a fancy dinner, but we both enjoyed it a lot ;).

Have a great day, everyody! ;)
Hugs!
