Hello, everybody! Are you getting ready for Christmas? I’m not. I haven’t put up a tree (nor am I planning to at this point), have no idea what I’m serving for dinner tomorrow, have not booked a car to go to my grandma’s house on the 25th … the list continues. I have, however, had a lovely Christmas Eve eve (get it? Bad joke, I know). This evening, I had the chance to meet Lillí, a fellow blogger. I’m not a people person at all and yet, keep meeting cool people I got to know thanks to this medium; weird, huh? I mean, I never go to dance clubs, or parties, or events where I have to socialize; I just can’t do it. I’m a wallflower and am totally fine with that. Still, I’ve been lucky enough to meet sweet people who turned out to be more similar to me than I’d expected. Is the world actually inhabited by lots of awesome people worth meeting? Does this mean I have to open up more to strangers? I don’t I think so, but I’m super grateful to have run into such cool individuals.
Back to today. So, Lillí and I had scheduled to meet for coffee. We went to a lovely tea house/restaurant called El Último Beso, located in
. We didn’t drink coffee, but we had a cup of tea and a good chat. She didn’t seem to acknowledge my awkwardness which made me feel at ease; I had a very good time with her. Palermo
I totally forgot to take pictures while we were having tea, but I took a few before we left. These were taken in the store within the reataurant. There were lots of nice ornaments, crockery and a few pieces of clothing.
I couldn't help taking a few shots in the restroom. This is probably the coolest one I've ever seen.
Look! There was a tub in there! Filled with water and flowers! How cool is that?!
If you are in Buenos Aires, I recommend going to this place. Thank you, Lillí, for being so sweet! It was a real pleasure to meet you! =)
